This light will help us
Sensing the revitalizing force of the sun, like plants photosynthesizing, we have all been given a timely boost of energy.
Exiting the dark confines of the winter we have a renewed feeling of liberation and freedom as we can now see an expansive horizon and crystal clear pure sky above, giving one the impression of viewing the world through a wide angle lens. Already we are experiencing 12 hours of daylight per day and working outside has become a veritable pleasure! Passing low on the horizon the sun creates an extended sunrise-sunset, setting the horizon on fire and giving a brilliant display of color that has been missing for the past few months. With regained energy amongst the crew this light will certainly help us over the next few weeks as were prepare for the arrival of scientists and new crew in April.
