After leaving her home port of Lorient (France) on May 28, 2016, Tara is expected to reach the east coast of the United States (Miami, Florida) on June 28. Thirty days of navigation with the sailors ensuring smooth running of the schooner. Daily life is punctuated by quarter watches in the wheelhouse where sailors take turns day and night. They adapt the route according to the winds, using sails or engines depending on weather conditions. Taking a southerly road where the wind is not strong enough to propel a 120-ton schooner, the  sailors constantly seek optimal sail adjustments to minimize engine use. Whenever the wind is strong enough, all sails are deployed. When the wind drops, one of the engines is turned on in order to maintain an average speed. On deck, trimming the sails for best use of wind  requires technique and teamwork.
