On the occasion of the first anniversary of the death of Michel Rocard, a great defender of the poles, and in recognition of France’s leading role in the protection of Antarctica, the Antarctica Today and Tomorrow conference will be held by ASOC, the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition. Many international NGOs will be present and participate.
This conference will provide an update on the environmental challenges that Antarctica is facing and on the proposal for a new marine protected area in eastern Antarctica.
Rendez-vous on June 29 at the Oceanographic Institute / Maison des Océans in Paris from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
