From June 25 to 27, Tara will dock in Rouen to attend a convention of the association of French Regions, taking place at the Rouen Opera.
Students will be welcomed aboard the schooner Friday morning June 26, and the general public on Friday June 26, and Saturday June 27.
Program during the stopover:
Tara will arrive on Wednesday June 24 around 9 pm.
On Thursday June 25, elected representatives attending the convention will come aboard for a tour of the sailboat and an update on Tara’s program presented by Captain Martin Hertau. Romain Troublé, Secretary General of Tara, will give an overview of scientific research performed aboard the schooner.
On June 26 and 27, Tara will welcome aboard students and the general public.

During your visit, Tara will invite you to discover and support the Ocean’s Call for Climate launched at UNESCO on June 8. The Ocean’s Call will be sponsored by Tara -via the Ocean & Climate Platform- until the end of the year, when it will be presented at the international Conference on Climate (COP21) held in Paris. Objective: give the Ocean a voice during the discussions on climate change.
