From August 18th to 23rd, Tara will be berthed at the Darling Harbour Marina, in front of the Australian National Maritime Museum.
“Sydney will be an opportunity to explain our work, share expertise with the Australian research community and raise public awareness about the environment, with special attention to youth,” says Romain Troublé, executive director of the Tara Expeditions Foundation.
This first stopover in Australia will be the occasion for numerous events: conferences, public visits of the boat, workshops, etc.

For her first time in Australia, Tara will arrive in the port of Darling Harbour Marina in Sydney.

The media will be invited aboard to meet the researchers and crew of Tara and visit the schooner.

Free public visits offered by the crew. Explore the schooner, learn about life and research aboard, as well as past expeditions.
