Born in 1967, Christian Cailleaux is an illustrator and cartoonist with a long experience of travel but above all, a passion for the idea of distance. Through stories of wanderings and faraway places (he has lived and worked in Africa, India, the Indian Ocean, Quebec, Singapore) he shares his discovery of navigation going back about 10 years.
Christian Cailleaux will embark aboard the schooner between the Philippines and China in early 2018. Looking for pictorial emotions, he will use his talents as draftsman and painter in favor of the ocean, composing a narrative in images that encompasses Tara in a larger project related to navigation and global warming.
