Born in 1980 and living in Paris, Noémie Sauve uses various media – drawing, painting, sculpture, disconographies, etc. – to express her observations and feed her creative process. Based on a fundamental questioning on how to live in a widely anthropized world, Noémie Sauve multiplies initiatives aimed at occupying a territory simply by living there.
Noémie Sauve will be aboard TARA from August 11 to September 22, 2017, between Auckland and Noumea. By mixing observed elements and fantasy of untamed nature, ideal and reality, she will shake up current codes in a scientific and pop/urban style to produce large drawn formats or sculptures
Her work has been exhibited at Drawing Now Paris, the YIA Art Fair, Art Paris, the Château de Servières in Marseille (as part of Pareïdolie, international fair of contemporary drawing), L’Aparté (venue for contemporary art in Brittany), and the Centre Wallonie Bruxelles in Paris.
