Since 2001, the year of Sir Peter Blake’s death, Tara, formerly Seamaster, has never returned to New Zealand. From Saturday July the 1st at 1 pm local time, the schooner will participate for more than a week in numerous festivities in the port of Auckland.
A few days before this event, we met Lady Pippa Blake, widow of the famous sailor. She explains to us the importance of this stopover and gives her opinion on the current mission of Tara.
