Scientific coordinator of the Tara Oceans expedition; Plankton Group UMR 7144 – CNRS et Univ. Paris VI; Station Biologique de Roscoff – SBR, France
At the Station Biologique de Roscoff, the team Diversity and Interaction of Oceanic PlanktOn is composed of scientists working on the diversity and ecology of plankton micro-algae.
Together with a strong taxonomic expertise, researchers use a combination of molecular and imaging approaches to understand more specifically how biotic interactions (viruses, parasites, symbionts) function and how they impact the ecology of marine ecosystems.
